FLYDOGS
"TRAINING"

Flydogs Training objective is to show you how to develop a
positive relationship with your dog through training. Flydogs Training
uses positive, motivational methods to assist you in developing a bond with your
dog. You and your dog learn together how to be better friends.
Classes and Private Lessons are available.

Puppy Kindergarten
This class is designed for puppies up to 6 months of age.
Commands that will be introduced and taught are: come, sit, down, stay,
leave it, off and leash walking. Discussion and problem solving of
housebreaking, crate training, mouthing, jumping, barking and more are
covered during classes.

Obedience Level 1
Dogs and older puppies over 6 months of age are welcomed in this
class that will teach the basic commands of: come, sit, down, stay, leave
it, off and leash walking. Off leash training in commands is
introduced in these sessions. Behavioral opportunities are also
discussed and training introduced to resolve the issues.

Obedience Level 2
Dogs who have completed Obedience Level 1 or have instructor
approval are welcomed to train and practice: the Canine Good Citizen
exercises, off leash commands and distraction exercises.

 | APDT Rally Will
return September 23, 2010
Rally is a fun sport where you and your dog demonstrate
obedience skills while navigating a course. This sport promotes the
development of a positive relationship between handler and dog, having fun
and improving obedience skills.
Prerequisite: Obedience 1 or Instructor approval.

Rowdy Rover
Is your dog scared, feisty, fearful, cautious or reactive?
Learn how to control and manage your dog around the stimulus that is causing
them to be uncomfortable or uncontrollable. Techniques and exercises
are taught to the handler to help them understand their dogs behavior and
manage their dogs more effectively.

Agility
Will Return in September 23, 2010
Interested in learning agility, but not interested in
competing? These sessions teaches you how to have a successful
relationship with your dog while teaching your dog to navigate jumps,
tunnels, chutes, weave poles, A-frames, dog walks, teeters and more!
These are great sessions for dogs
and humans who want to do more than basic obedience. If you are
interested in recreational or backyard agility these sessions are designed for
you!

Flyball
Does your dog like tennis balls and enjoy jumping? Train your
dog to play and compete in the fast pace sport of flyball. Flyball is
a relay race for dogs where the dogs jump over 4 hurdles that are in a
straight line and retrieve a tennis ball and bring it back to you.
Both dogs and handlers enjoy this popular sport. Flydogs will be
recruiting dogs for our Flyball team from this class!

 | Trick Training
Will return September 22, 2010
Entertain family and friends as your dog learns how to shake, roll
over, bow, wave, weave, crawl, beg, paw at their nose, put their toys away and
catch a treat off their nose. This class is about having fun with your
dog while learning new tricks. Your dog may already roll over, sit up
and shake paw....but how about twisting, turning, weaving, fetching you a handkerchief?
These tricks and more are taught in this fun class.

 | Summer Specials
7/15/2010 - "Dog Behavior" - Your dog is communicating to
you. Do you know what she's trying to tell you? During this
session we will teach skills to help you understand her better.
Example: My dog's tail is wagging - Is she happy, stressed,
frustrated? Tail wags have many meanings, learn more in this session.
7/22/2010 - "Dog Play Group Behavior" - Is my dog happy and
comfortable while playing with other dogs? When should I stop my dog from
playing? Is this play too rough? Learn this and more while we
observe the dogs in play groups. Unacceptable dog behavior will not be
allowed by dogs in this session. No aggressive dogs allowed.
7/29/2010 - "Sit/Down/Stay Refresher" - These commands and other
Obedience commands will be reviewed in this session.
8/19/2010 - "Dog Sport Sampler" - Try Agility, Flyball and Rally
during this session. Not sure if your dog is interested in a sport,
this is a great time to try one out!

CLASS FEE/FLYDOGS PASS
Classes are $120 for 6 sessions. Flydogs offers the Flydogs Pass where you
purchase 6 sessions for $120. The pass is valid for 4 months from date of
purchase and you can attend any 6 sessions of that class. For example:
sign up for Obedience Level 1 and attend any 6 sessions of Obedience Level 1
during a 4 month period. This pass allows you the flexibility to attend
classes around your schedule.
SUMMER SPECIALS FEE:
$10 per dog/handler per

PRIVATE LESSONS:
In Home Lessons
Don't have time for a class? Does your dog need to learn, or be reminded
of the basic obedience commands of sit,
down, stay, come and more?
Do you want to teach your dog some new tricks, or learn a new sport?
Does your dog have a behavioral opportunity that needs to be changed? Lessons are designed for your specific needs and are taught at your
home and can involve the entire family.
 | Puppy Kindergarten
Skills that are taught include name recognition, sit, down,
stay, come, leave it and walking on leash. Puppy behavior problems of housebreaking, crate training,
jumping, chewing and biting will be addressed.

 | Basic Obedience Level 1
Designed for the adolescent and older dog, the basic obedience
sessions focuses on changing problem behaviors through positive training and as
refresher training on the basic obedience commands. You will learn how to positively and motivationally teach your dog to
sit, come, stay, down and walk on a leash. These sessions are for all dogs
over 6 months of age that need to learn how to be a positive member of your
family.

 | Basic Obedience Level 2
Prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test while
improving you and your dog's obedience skills. We will practice all of
the exercises that are tested in the CGC. New skills introduced will
be off leash walking and retrieving.

 | Behavioral Opportunities
Is your dog shy, fearful, lacks confidence, reactive to people, dogs
other animals? You will learn techniques to help manage your dogs
behavior and teach you and your dog to be better partners. These
lessons will focus on your dog's specific opportunities and train you on
behaviors to use to help your dog be more comfortable in situations where
they've reacted negatively.

 | Trick Training

Teach your dog to play disc like those dogs on TV or at the park.
Tricks taught include flips, spins, overs, and many more.
Learn how to throw the disc with a variety of grips and spins. Teach your
dog how to safely catch and retrieve the disc. You'll be
instructed on how to design your unique freestyle routine to show off your
dogs talents. |
