"Private
Lessons"

PRIVATE LESSONS:
In Home Lessons
Don't have time for a class? Does your dog need to learn, or be reminded
of the basic obedience commands of sit,
down, stay, come and more?
Do you want to teach your dog some new tricks, or learn a new sport?
Does your dog have a behavioral opportunity that needs to be changed? Lessons are designed for your specific needs and are taught at your
home and can involve the entire family.
 | Puppy Kindergarten
Skills that are taught include name recognition, sit, down,
stay, come, leave it and walking on leash. Puppy behavior problems of housebreaking, crate training,
jumping, chewing and biting will be addressed.
|
 | Family Dog Level 1
Designed for the adolescent and older dog, the basic obedience
sessions focuses on changing problem behaviors through positive training and as
refresher training on the basic obedience commands. You will learn how to positively and motivationally teach your dog to
sit, come, stay, down and walk on a leash. These sessions are for all dogs
over 6 months of age that need to learn how to be a positive member of your
family.
|
 | Obedience
Prepare your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test while
improving you and your dog's obedience skills. We will practice all of
the exercises that are tested in the CGC. New skills introduced will
be off leash walking and retrieving.
|
 | Behavioral Opportunities
Is your dog shy, fearful, lacks confidence, reactive to people, dogs
other animals? You will learn techniques to help manage your dogs
behavior and teach you and your dog to be better partners. These
lessons will focus on your dog's specific opportunities and train you on
behaviors to use to help your dog be more comfortable in situations where
they've reacted negatively.
|
 | Trick Training
Entertain family and friends as your dog learns how to shake, roll
over, bow, wave, weave, crawl, beg, paw at their nose, put their toys away and
catch a treat off their nose. These sessions are all about having fun with your
dog while learning new tricks. Your dog may already roll over, sit up
and shake paw....but how about twisting, turning, weaving, fetching you a handkerchief?
These tricks and more are taught in these fun sessions.
|
 | K-9 Disc
Teach your dog to play disc like those dogs on TV or at the park.
Tricks taught include flips, spins, overs, and many more.
Learn how to throw the disc with a variety of grips and spins. Teach your
dog how to safely catch and retrieve the disc. You'll be
instructed on how to design your unique freestyle routine to show off your
dogs talents. |
