Jake:
My buddy Jake was a friendly, outgoing,
confident Sheltie who introduced me to the world of canine sports. I
thought I would just train in obedience, but when I saw Jake enjoy flyball and
agility so much I had to travel down that road. He even loved to catch a
disc, it wasn't his best sport, but like everything else his attitude shone
through. Thanks Jake for an incredible 12 years and I'll see you at the
Rainbow Bridge.
Tessa:
A
shy, scared Border Collie mix came into my life and changed it forever. I
learned with Tessa how to help her gain confidence and enjoy the world.
She was afraid of everything, but over the years she learned to trust me and
enjoy swimming, hiking, chasing tennis balls and of course flyball
and agility. Thank you Tessa for teaching me how to help you and many
other shy, scared dogs. I know Jake was waiting for you at the Rainbow
Bridge and welcomed his best buddy with a loud woof.
EverReady Scout
retired from flyball and canine disc after many successful seasons entertaining
crowds in both sports. This energetic mixed breed has achieved a high
level of success in both sports. In canine disc she was the 2005 Skyhoundz
Micro Dog World Champion, is the IDDHA small dog distance record
holder and has been a national qualifier for U.S. Disc Dog Nationals in 2002,
2003 & 2004. In Flyball Scout retired after achieving the
FDGCH level. She was one small dog who could play with the big dogs. Scout
has appeared on WGN News and has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and Daily
Herald. Scout
passed away in April 2010. She was my best friend.
